Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Northwind Keystone Foods produces packaged foods at its Houston plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of production batches and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
