Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Bright Pine Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Tucson area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Tucson. • We reply to every applicant.
