Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Nest Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Richmond. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
