Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Silverline Loom Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Albuquerque, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of claims and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Albuquerque. • We reply to every applicant.
