Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Westbrook Pine Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Sacramento, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of family communication and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
