Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Lumen Pine Insurance is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for customer complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
