Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Silverline Loom Learning Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of school calendars and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
