Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Stonegate River Financial is a financial-services company in Madison, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with customer onboarding. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
