Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Lumen Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Spokane area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of attendance records and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • We reply to every applicant.
