Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Thistle Learning Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 94 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of student accounts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
