Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Fernwood Timber Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Oklahoma City area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 152 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
