Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Rivermark West Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Des Moines region. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
