Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Amberfield Kestrel Markets serves neighbourhoods around Hartford with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of pricing and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
