Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Lakeside Telecom and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of billing accounts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
