Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Westbrook Juniper Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Portland. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Model the cost of case files and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
