Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Silverline Drift Civic Services Partners supports public agencies in Milwaukee with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of procurement and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Milwaukee. • We reply to every applicant.
