Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Clearpath Rook Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Madison and nearby communities. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • We reply to every applicant.
