Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Rivermark Juniper Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Hartford, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 197 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
