Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Bluepeak Amber Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Little Rock and nearby communities, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
