Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Bright Clear Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the Raleigh region. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 40 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
