Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Northwind Orchard Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Boston serving households and small businesses, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of card disputes and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with branch operations. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
