Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Harborlight Forge Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Philadelphia. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of billing disputes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with service connections. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
