Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Stonegate Ridge Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around San Jose, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 104 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
