Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Nova Oak Foods Associates is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 70 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Model the cost of ingredient orders and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
