Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Stonegate Pine Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Houston plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with production lines. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
