Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Foxglove Vista Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the San Diego area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Model the cost of student accounts and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
