Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Redstone Umber Transit Planning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with service alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
