Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Cedar Yarrow Energy is an energy provider in El Paso focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of billing disputes and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with usage data. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in El Paso. • We reply to every applicant.
