Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

We are growing our team at Cedar Mill Foods and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 352 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of sanitation schedules and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
