Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Westbrook Union Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Chicago, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of public records and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
