Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Clearpath Cross Energy is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing disputes and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
