Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Greenridge Maple Water Authority Partners supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Hartford and nearby communities. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 84 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter reading. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
