Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Raleigh, NC)

Foxglove Cedar Banking Services is a regional lender in Raleigh with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with deposit accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
