Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Providence, RI)

Highbridge Cross Foods is a Providence food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Model the cost of ingredient orders and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with customer specifications. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
