Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Providence, RI)

Westbrook Pine Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Providence, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
