Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Providence, RI)

Foxglove Summit Manufacturing is a Providence manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of machine downtime and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
