Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Portland, OR)

Nova River Early Learning runs childcare centres in Portland caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of meal programmes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
