Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Portland, OR)

Bright Cobalt Early Learning runs childcare centres in Portland caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Portland. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of tuition and subsidies and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
