Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Juniper Civic Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Portland. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of case files and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
