Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Portland, OR)

Clearpath Sable Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Portland. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of regulatory reports and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
