Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Pittsburgh, PA)

Greenridge Timber Markets is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for pricing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 172 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of pricing and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • A relevant degree or certification.
