Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Pittsburgh, PA)

Stonegate Fox Insurance is an insurance company in Pittsburgh with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
