Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Phoenix, AZ)

Summit Ember Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Phoenix area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • A relevant degree or certification.
