Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Phoenix, AZ)

Redstone Cedar Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Phoenix, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 878 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of card disputes and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with fraud alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
