Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Philadelphia, PA)

Summit Lantern Learning Group is an education provider in Philadelphia serving students and families, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of school calendars and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
