Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Philadelphia, PA)

Foxglove West Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Philadelphia region. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of meter readings and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
