Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Philadelphia, PA)

Lumen Birch Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Philadelphia design routes and schedules, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
