Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Lumen Ashton Foods and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 456 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of production batches and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Omaha. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
