Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Omaha, NE)

Northwind Bright Financial is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for vendor spend, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Model the cost of vendor spend and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
