Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Ashton Civic Services and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of public records and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
